Ireland Jersey: The Green of the Boys in Green
Emerald green at home, white or sky blue away, and the three-leaf clover of the federation embroidered above the heart. The Boys in Green adopted this green in the 1920s and have never changed it. This collection includes home, away, third, and retro kits, in sizes S to 4XL, starting from €24.90. You can add a name at the top, a number and a name at the bottom, with each filled field costing €2. Please allow 72 hours for order processing, then 7 to 14 business days for delivery, with a delivered-or-your-money-back guarantee and 24/7 customer service.
Italia 90 and the Thunderclap at Giants Stadium
Under the direction of Jack Charlton, Ireland reached the quarter-finals of the 1990 World Cup in their first appearance, after eliminating Romania on penalties with a save from Packie Bonner and a shot from David O'Leary. Four years later, at Giants Stadium in New York, Ray Houghton beat Italy 1-0 with a long-range shot. The patterned green jersey from those years is regularly reissued, as are the numbers of Roy Keane and Robbie Keane, the team's top scorer.
What size to choose?
Order your usual size for the supporter fit, which follows classic sizing. The player version is tighter, so going one size up is an option for more comfort. You will find detailed measurements on each jersey's product page.
